Although he’s called the city of Chicago home since 1999, Scott Remedy credits his ties to the legendary Orlando, FL dance music scene for his classically rigorous DJ upbringing. A multi-instrumentalist from the age of 6, he was inspired by the nascent sounds of breakbeat/electro and house, quickly taking up the turntables as de facto instruments of choice.

His move to Chicago, and countless hours spent in the trenches honing his craft, led to the next logical step: a foray into music production. To date, Scott has amassed numerous production credits to his name on labels like Florida-based Bass Frequency Productions, RaJo Records, Ravesta Records, and Theoryon records.

Never losing sight of his roots, Scott continues championing the sounds he first fell in love with. Despite a previously active gig schedule, he’s been serving as host of a long-running internet radio show on nuskoolbreaks.co.uk / nsbradio.co.uk, relying on a trained ear, vast knowledge and finely tuned skills to spread his personal take on fresh dance music.
