G-Rated, originally a southwest Virginia native who fell into the scene over 20 years ago, relocated to Florida where his early love of 808 bass met the unique sound of funky breaks.

G-Rated cofounded Deflo Entertainment with a lifelong friend, DJ Dividend$. He has mentored and inspired many local DJs and been booked to play alongside some of his favorites over the years.
