Harry Whittington aka King Shotta, comes from Johnson City, TN.  Founding member and Co running the record label Defy Culture with Chief Kaya, King Shotta brings rooted elements of the dubstep genre through quality selections as well as a MC presence on stages throughout the United States. He continues to push the  underground influence with every release on Defy Culture. Affiliated with Beatdrifters, King Shotta has also helped organize local shows in the Tri-Cities area and events such as Disconnect that took place in the Western Carolina region in 2022
